Across the spring, Cumberland competed in archery, baseball, esports, golf, softball, tennis, and outdoor track & field, but its strongest runs came from a series of key championship outcomes. Cumberland captured a Mid-South Conference esports title, tied for the league lead in the final standings and earning 9.5 points. Women’s golf added a runner-up finish for nine points, while baseball collected eight points with a third-place regular-season showing.
Contributions also arrived from men’s golf (eight points), women’s tennis (eight points), men’s tennis (seven points), and outdoor track & field, where the men totaled seven points and the women six.
Cumberlands secured the President’s Cup by totaling a perfect 140 points, winning both men’s and women’s all-sports tallies for the Patriots’ fifth consecutive cup and 13th all-time. Cumberland’s overall third-place result marked a standout, all-around finish as points reward the top seven men’s and top seven women’s performances in conference-sponsored sports.
