NASHVILLE — Five Trevecca Nazarene University softball student-athletes have been selected to the 2026 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Softball Team, an honor recognizing standout performance in both academics and athletics.
The CSC Academic All-District team spans NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III and the NAIA. To qualify, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50, and contribute on the field as a starter or key reserve who has appeared in a significant portion of the team’s games.
For Trevecca, the five honorees reflect a commitment to excellence in the classroom while making an impact throughout the season. In the infield, junior Annabelle Ellis earned recognition after pursuing a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies Elementary Education K-5 with an ESL endorsement. Ellis, a 5-foot-7 infielder from Dickson, Tennessee, has balanced her academic pathway with important on-field contributions.
Also recognized is junior outfielder Addy Grace Summers, a 5-foot-7 nursing student from Nashville and a graduate of Christ Presbyterian Academy. Senior outfielders Sarah Nicholson and Sarah Kinderdine join the list, both studying Business Administration Marketing and Nursing, respectively, and hailing from Springfield and Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Rounding out the group is senior Kyleigh Burgett, a 5-foot-10 infielder from Franklin, Tennessee, who competes while working toward a Business Administration Marketing degree.
With the selections highlighting discipline, leadership, and sustained performance, Trevecca’s 2026 Academic All-District recipients add another milestone to the program’s tradition of student-athlete success.
